Title:  Eastern Regional Manager

Position Objective:

Utah Farm Bureau Federation (UFBF) seeks a regional manager to assist County and State Farm Bureau Leaders in developing and carrying out effective programs and assisting members. These programs are designed to maintain a strong, effective organization, meet members’ needs, and to promote the philosophy, policies and basic concepts of the County, State and National Farm Bureau organizations.

Reports To:  Director of Field Services

Essential Functions: 

  1. Provide continual leadership to improve the strength, effectiveness, and reputation of the organization.
  2. Work with County Farm Bureau leadership in planning, developing, and implementing effective county programs of work.
  3. Manage effective annual membership growth campaigns in the region.
  4. Assist in the planning and setting up of county and regional leadership meetings.
  5. Develop and train new and existing Farm Bureau leaders.
  6. Serve as a resource person to the County Farm Bureaus in problem solving, agricultural policy development and implementation.
  7. Establish and maintain working relationships with other organizations, governmental agencies, and community & industry groups.
  8. Communicate and work with Farm Bureau staff establishing a team effort for the success of the organization.
  9. Attend day and night meetings and activities with some overnight travel.

Experience and Skills Required:

  1. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
  2. Self-motivated with organizational, negotiation, and human relation skills.
  3. Written and verbal communication skills. 
  4. Must have a valid UT driver’s license and be able to travel in assigned area and throughout the state to fulfill duties of the job, often for evening meetings.
  5. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in agricultural related field.
  6. Preferred to have the candidate live or be willing to relocate to eastern Utah.


Wage range for this position is $55,000 - $62,000 based on experience. Other compensation includes medical & dental Insurance, Company Vehicle w/Gas Card, 401K w/6% Match and Non-discretionary Contribution of 5%, Vacation/Sick Leave.
