Welcome to the County Leaders Resource page.  Here you will find information and links to training opportunities and resources to help you be a successful Farm Bureau leader.  Utah Farm Bureau's Leadership Program engages members with the training and education they need to become powerful advocates for today’s agriculture and to strengthen their ability to encourage positive change in their communities and in the agricultural industry.


American Farm Bureau Federation®  hosted it’s first-ever virtual County Leader Week, a week full of online engagement opportunities to foster the development of county leaders. County Leader Week is an opportunity for members to strengthen Farm Bureau by investing in your own development as a county leader.   If you missed any of the online engagement opportunities, links to the videos are below.

Farm Bureau Leadership training is available online.  Learn from the comfort of your own home on your own time table.  FB University includes three courses, Board Essentials, Farm Bureau Builder, and Pillars of Literacy.  Modules in each course take 15-20 minutes to complete and range on a variety of topics.

Are you a county board member?  Do you work with county boards?  Board Essentials offers resources and training to county board members, helping to improve in the areas of governance, planning, policy development and advocacy, and membership.

Farm Bureau Builder is designed to help your county board of directors improve the overall health of your county Farm Bureau by assessing where your county Farm Bureau stands in eight building blocks of organizational success. Farm Bureau Builder will help your county track its progress on an important journey of self-improvement. All Farm Bureau Builder responses are recorded and stored in Farm Bureau University so that you can track your county's progress as you go along.

Pillars of Agriculture Literacy Description

The Pillars of Agricultural Literacy program serves as a tool to guide you, or a group, to create a purposeful plan of new efforts to educate consumers about agriculture.
