The Utah Legislative Session began on January 17 and will end on March 3 at midnight. During these 45 days, legislators are busy voting on and setting policy for Utah. Our legislators need to know that agriculture matters and is essential to the state! Magnify your voice by attending Utah Farm Bureau’s Day on the Hill on February 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Kletting Room located on the first floor of the East Senate Building.

Utah Farm Bureau proudly claims a grassroots structure. Our public policy process begins with members in each county and eventually makes it to the state level where our lobbyists advocate for policy on behalf of our members during the legislative session. Attending Day on the Hill is the perfect opportunity for you to see what Farm Bureau has been working on, how the policy process works, and connect with your own legislators.
