SANDY, Utah. May 15, 2026 – The Utah Farm Bureau Federation (UFBF) today announced that Faith Rust has been hired for the role of Administrative Assistant and Event Planner. In this role, Rust will provide administrative assistance to the executive team of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation and coordinate all major events for the organization.

Rust grew up in Altamont, Duchesne County, on her family’s beef cattle ranch, where she learned to value agriculture and hard work. She enjoys being outside, fishing, baking, gardening, and being around friends and family. She is also raising her own small herd of Red Angus cattle with her husband on the family’s ranch. She recently completed an internship working for Utah State University’s Agriculture in the Classroom program.

Faith was a very involved student at Altamont High School, where she participated in the FFA organization with the Moon Lake FFA Chapter. She served as a chapter officer in high school and later as a State FFA officer. She served a church service mission in Tacoma, Washington, before graduating from USU with a degree in Agricultural Communications, with a minor in Journalism & Communications.

“I’m excited to work here because of what Utah Farm Bureau stands for and provides to farming and ranching families across the state,” Rust said. “To be part of that mission in any way is the privilege of a lifetime.”

“We are excited to welcome Faith to the Farm Bureau family and know she will have a great impact,” said Spencer Gibbons, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for UFBF. “She is a quick learner, full of optimism, and has the ability to share agriculture’s story. I’m confident she’ll deliver great work for our members.”

Rust will join the organization on May 18 and can be reached at faith.rust@fbfs.com or 801-233-3014. She is the main point of contact for the UFBF Board of Directors and Executive staff leaders.
