On June 1, Young Farmers and Ranchers in Weber County met with Utah 1st District Representative Blake Moore at Gibson’s Green Acres in Ogden.

After the group enjoyed delicious ice cream, Representative Moore spoke about priorities in Congress, his work on the Ways & Means Committee, and then answered audience questions for over an hour. Questions from the group touched on the upcoming Farm Bill, public lands policy, H-2A visas and farm labor, and other topics. The Young Farmers and Ranchers also presented Representative Moore with his ‘Friend of Farm Bureau’ award for his support of agriculture during the 117th Congress.
