The Environmental Protection Agency has sent a proposal to withdraw the Obama administration’s controversial water rule to the White House Office of Management and Budget for interagency review. OMB review will happen over the next few of weeks. Once interagency review is complete, a proposed rule to withdraw the Waters of the U.S. rule will be published in the Federal Register, with a deadline for submission of public comments.
Farm Bureau supports the EPA’s effort to withdraw the 2015 rule and replace it with one that conforms to the limits approved by Congress and affirmed by the Supreme Court. Learn more online at http://www.fb.org/issues/regulatory-reform/clean-water-act/.
