Aubree Thomas has recently been hired as a Communications Coordinator for the Utah Farm Bureau Federation (UFBF) as well as for the Miracle of Agriculture Foundation. In this role, Thomas will provide communications assistance to the Utah Farm Bureau Federation, focusing specifically on social media and digital communications, and coordinate communications and events for the Foundation.
Thomas grew up on a small cattle ranch in southwestern Wyoming and is the oldest of four children. She was very involved in 4-H and FFA, showing steers and pigs.
Thomas graduated first from Casper College, where she was a member of the Collegiate Livestock Judging team. She later attended Utah State University, graduating in 2018 with a degree in agricultural communications and journalism. While in college, Thomas also served as a Beef Ambassador, where she helped educate consumers about beef and volunteered at events like Farm Field Days and the state fair.
Aubree comes to the Utah Farm Bureau having worked most recently in digital communications for USU Extension and the College of Agriculture.
“I studied agricultural communications because I am passionate about agriculture and want to help advocate for the farmers and ranchers who work so hard to feed the world,” Thomas said. “I’m excited to be working at Utah Farm Bureau so that I can help tell their stories and help educate consumers.”
“We are excited to welcome Aubree to the Farm Bureau family and know she will have a great impact” said Spencer Gibbons, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for UFBF. “She is a natural at connecting with people and sharing the value that agriculture has in our communities. Aubree will be an amazing asset to our organization.”
Thomas joined the organization in October and can be reached at aubree.thomas@fbfs.com or 801-233-3217. She is a point of contact for the Miracle of Agriculture Foundation and social media for both the Federation and Foundation.
