Beaver County Farm Bureau & Miracle of Agriculture Foundation Make Meat Donations in Beaver County

The Beaver County Farm Bureau teamed up with the Miracle of Agriculture Foundation (MAF) -- the charitable arm of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation -- to donate more than 1,800 pounds of beef to residents in Beaver County who suffered property damage from recent flooding. Many lost freezers full of food from the floods, and rural food pantries throughout Utah are often underserved or completely out of protein sources for families in need.

Information on how many can be served by this donation can vary by the food pantry, but it is estimated that three pounds will supply a family’s protein needs for one week. Beaver County Farm Bureau leaders and MAF leadership delivered the food to residents earlier this week.
