Fresh Strawberry Pie
Bake pie crust, either homemade or store bought. If the crust is shallow, this recipe will make 2 pies.
2 C. water
2 C. sugar
6 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
3 qt. strawberries, cleaned, destemmed, and sliced
Bring water, cornstarch, and sugar to boil, stirring until thick and clear. Remove from heat; ad strawberry jello. mix well and cool. Fold in strawberries. Pour into pie shell. store in fridge till set. Serve with whipped cream.
