Farm Bureau is urging farmers and ranchers to make their voices heard when it comes to the Trans-Pacific Partnership. AFBF trade specialist David Salmonsen explained in Tuesday’s Newsline that farmers and ranchers need to talk to their lawmakers about the benefits of approving the trade agreement quickly.

With Congress in recess, “Now is the time for the people to talk to their representatives and senators about TPP,” Salmonsen said. The timing is good because lawmakers are on their home turf and farmers and ranchers can talk about what the agreement means to agriculture in their state.
