Sadie Nielsen has recently been hired for the role of Accountant for the Utah Farm Bureau Federation (UFBF). Some of Nielsen’s duties will include managing accounts payable & receivable, executing month-end accounting procedures for Farm Bureau and its subsidiaries, and more.

Nielsen was born and raised in Spanish Fork and is the fourth of five children. Sadie grew up spending a lot of time outdoors camping, swimming, and long-boarding. She enjoys being outside, reading, and being around friends and family.

Sadie was a very involved student at Spanish Fork High School where she participated in student government, and the SFPD Youth Court as a judge. She served a church service mission in Paraguay, before graduating from Utah Valley University (UVU) with a degree in Business Management. When not working, Sadie’s hobbies include reading, long-boarding, camping, pickleball, spending time with her fiancé, and traveling as much as possible.

“I am excited to be working here at the Utah Farm Bureau, where I can learn more about how to better serve the farmers and ranchers in our community,” Nielsen said. “I look forward to getting to know our members and valuing the service they bring to our state.”

“We are excited to welcome Sadie to the Farm Bureau family and know she will have a great impact” said Spencer Gibbons, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for UFBF. “She is very organized, is a quick learner and I’m confident she’ll deliver great work for our members.”

Nielsen replaces Jed Fisher, who left recently for an opportunity with the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C.

Nielsen joined the organization in January and can be reached at sadie.nielsen@fbfs.com or 801-233-3009. She is a main point of contact for the questions related to membership billing.
