Use slightly outdated milk to help limit food waste!

1 Tbsp vinegar

1 c. expired milk

1 c. flour

1 Tbsp. sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

1 egg, beaten

2 Tbsp vegetable oil

Place the vinegar in a measuring cup and fill to the 1 cup mark with milk. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and make a well in the center. In another bowl combine the now sour milk with the egg and oil. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until moistened, batter will be lumpy. Pour batter in 4-inch circles onto a hot, lighlty greased griddle; cook over medium heat until golden, flipping when tops are bubbly all over.
