Registration is open for the 2021 American Farm Bureau (AFBF) FUSION Reimagined Conference —free and open to all who are interested.
FUSION Reimagined will be held March 11-13, 2021 and is an opportunity to bring together members of the Young Farmers & Ranchers, Women’s Leadership and Promotion & Education member engagement programs for an opportunity to connect, learn and develop as leaders in Farm Bureau.
The 2021 Farm Bureau FUSION Reimagined Conference is also an opportunity to share the FUSION experience with members of the agricultural community who have not yet experienced the benefit of Farm Bureau membership, but who share a passion for agriculture.
During this year’s conference, we hope to inspire the grassroots agricultural community all across the country to engage as members and leaders within Farm Bureau so that together we can influence a stronger and more sustainable future for our industry.
The Farm Bureau FUSION Reimagined Conference will host farm tours from across the country and Canada, with tours specifically geared to adults and children.
The celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 11th with a welcome from AFBF President Zippy Duvall, followed by a live comedy performance from Second City. The well-known improv company opened its door in December 1959 and has grown to become the most influential and prolific comedy empire in the world. Famed faces of the group include Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Steve Carell and Jason Sudeikis. You won’t want to miss out on this event!
The conference offers a solid lineup of keynote speakers to kick-off each day at 12:00 noon EST. The Friday speaker will be Gian Paul Gonzalez, former NCAA First Team All-American basketball player and motivational speaker to all, from professional sports teams to at-risk youth. Saturday’s keynote speaker will be Jay Hill, farmer, advocate for agriculture and social media pro. Plan to join Gian Paul and Jay after the completion of each general session for a live question and answer session before you join a breakout session at 1:30 PM Eastern.
The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture is holding an online auction during the FUSION Conference. A few pre-conference events taking place earlier in the week including a state chair training and opening rounds of the Collegiate Discussion Meet. The competition will be held over Zoom webinar and run just like the YF&R Discussion Meet during our Virtual Annual Convention. All contestants will compete in open discussion for the first two rounds.
This event will build on successes of the recent American Farm Bureau convention and will be accessible to a greater audience than ever before. Those who have attended leadership conferences in the past, will be in for an experience like never before. For those who haven’t participated before, we welcome you to join with us and grow as a leader for our industry.
