The Utah State Fair is back, and that means good times for thrill ride enthusiasts, funnel cake aficionados, and the culmination of much work for FFA and 4-H students throughout the state as they show off their prized livestock and horticulture entries.

But the fair is much more than that! In the Utah Farm Bureau's most recent episode of its podcast, Cows, Plows, and Things that Grow, Utah State Fair CEO Larry R. Mullenax talks about the history of the State Fair, what to expect this year, and the important role agriculture continues to play now and in the fair's future. In the second segment, Utah Farm Bureau's Sadie Sweat, Vice President of Organization, talks about the Utah Farm Bureau's efforts at the fair -- including the wildly popular Barnyard Friends Exhibit.
