Utah Farm Bureau Releases Podcast Episode Covering National Convention and Legislative Priorities

In the most recent episode of Cows, Plows and Things that Grow, the Utah Farm Bureau's podcast, we'll hear from American Farm Bureau (AFBF) President Zippy Duvall and Utah Farm Bureau President ValJay Rigby sharing their experiences at the American Farm Bureau convention and the different issues impacting American agriculture. Many of Utah Farm Bureau's leadership was in attendance at the American Farm Bureau Convention to finalize national Farm Bureau policy, and to make connections with ag leaders from across the country.
Connected to this, we visit with a group of young farmers and ranchers who'd recently won awards at Utah's state Farm Bureau convention, and who also made the trip to the AFBF Convention and competed with award winners from other states to the national contests. We'll hear them share there thoughts on the convention and how these competitions help them be better advocates for agriculture.
Lastly, we also visit with Kelly Pehrson, the Commissioner of the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, and from Utah Farm Bureau's policy team to talk about the newly commenced legislative session and the issues Farm Bureau is prioritizing there.
