The Utah Department of Agriculture is working on an exciting project. They are conducting a local agriculture and food system study to better understand the challenges in Utah’s food system, examine the barriers and gaps that limit the availability of local food in the state, and identify opportunities to strengthen Utah’s food system. A key part of this effort is hearing directly from those working in our food system. The final study will be shared in spring 2026.

If you are a farmer, rancher, food producer, processor, distributor, retailer, institutional buyer, or play another role in Utah’s food supply chain, your input is needed.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, depending on how many sections you choose to answer. Your responses will remain completely anonymous. At the end of the survey, there will be an opportunity to enter an opportunity drawing for a $100 gift card.
