Valjay Rigby, PRESIDENT

ValJay Rigby is a 5th-generation farmer from Newton, Cache County, farming on land that was part of an original family homestead. ValJay farms alongside his brother and his children, growing approximately 1,500 acres of alfalfa, safflower, and small grains, as well as a beef cattle herd. Rigby has a master’s degree in information systems and a bachelor’s degree in finance, both from Utah State University. He has also served as the Cache County Farm Bureau president, as well as on local planning & zoning committees and local water company boards, and as a volunteer firefighter. 

TYSON ROBERTS, Vice President

Tyson Roberts currently serves as Vice President for the Utah Farm Bureau Federation, having been elected in 2024. Roberts is a produce farmer and represents the 6^th generation of Roberts’ to farm in Layton, Utah (Davis County). Tyson and his wife Danna have six children who each help on the farm. Partnering with his parents, Dix and Ruth, he operates Roberts Family Farms, which produces fresh-market vegetables sold on the farm and at farmers' markets in Utah and Southwestern Wyoming. Roberts has witnessed a steady change in Davis County agriculture since starting a produce business with his brother, Deven, in 1992.

Prior to being elected Vice President, Roberts served on the Utah Farm Bureau Board of Directors, representing District 3, as well as the Vice President of Davis County Farm Bureau and Supervisor for the Davis County Conservation District. He has always loved policy development/implementation and enjoys playing a role as a citizen in the local and national political process.

Tyson is a graduate of the American Farm Bureau’s “Partners in Advocacy Leadership” program, where he studied personal development, media, consumer/stakeholder engagement, and local and international policy development. He enjoys serving as a voice for all types of agriculture. He is active on social media, and can be found @utahonionboy on Instagram,@robertsfarms on Twitter, and @RobertsFamilyFarms on Facebook.

Chris Chambers, District 1, (North & South Box Elder, Cache & Rich)

Chris is a cattle rancher from Smithfield, Utah, and was elected to the Utah Farm Bureau State Board of Directors in 2022, having previously served as the Cache County Farm Bureau President.

Kenny McFarland, District 2, (Morgan, Summit, and WEBER)

Kenny McFarland is a produce farmer in West Weber, Weber County. McFarland is the former State YF&R Chair and a former member of the American Farm Bureau's YF&R Committee. He was elected to the State Board of Directors in November 2025.

JANAE TITMUS, District 3, (Davis, Salt Lake, and Tooele)

Titmus is a sheep rancher from Tooele County and was elected in November 2024.

Russ Kohler, District 4, (Juab, Utah, and Wasatch)            

Russ Kohler is a representative to the board from District 4, which includes Juab, Utah, and Wasatch Counties. Kohler is a dairy farmer and cheesemaker from Midway, Wasatch County. Kohler served on the Utah and National Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee, including a term as chair. As the national chair, Kohler also served a term on the American Farm Bureau Federation's Board of Directors. Kohler is also a recent graduate of the American Farm Bureau’s “Partners in Advocacy Leadership” program. 

CODY WILKINS, District 5, (Carbon, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Grand, San Juan & Uintah)

Cody proudly carries the torch as a fifth-generation cattle rancher from Jensen, Utah, a legacy deeply rooted in the history and heart of the Wilkins operation. 

Currently, Cody farms alongside his dad, growing approximately 1,700 acres, and raises multiple crops such as alfalfa, grain corn, and silage corn and small grains. He also runs a cow/calf operation in Utah and Wyoming.

Cody has served as the Uintah County Farm Bureau President for the past several years and also serves on the on the Uintah County Cattleman's Association Board, the Colorado River Authority of Utah Ag Advisory Board, the Wildlife PIRC Committee, and the Northeastern GIP Board. Cody is proud to represent District 5 on the Utah Farm Bureau Federation Board.

Trevor barnson, District 6, (Garfield, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier & Wayne)            

Jared Buhler, District 7,  (Beaver, Kane, Iron, Millard, & Washington)            

Jared Buhler is serving as a board representative from District 7. He owns and operates Jared Buhler Family Farms, where he grows alfalfa and small grains in Millard County. He is also the manager of the IFA Farm Store in Delta. Jared and his wife are the proud parents of two children, one is the head chef at Nephi Hospital, the other is a massage therapist in Lehi.  Jared has been involved in Farm Bureau for many years, most recently serving as the President of the Millard County Farm Bureau. Jared also served on the Utah State Fair Board for seven years. 

Dot Jensen, State Women's Committee (Chair)

Dot Jensen has been involved in agriculture her entire life. Growing up in Yuma, Arizona, provided plenty of opportunities to work with her dad in the cattle feed yard, and raise and work horses while being involved in the 4-H program. She learned to work hard and play harder, all while being engaged in agriculture.

Dot moved to Utah, attended Utah State University, and settled in Tremonton on a third-generation sheep ranch, where her own children learned the value of work, agriculture, and fun. She has been an active member of the Utah Farm Bureau for over 30 years. Much of her time has been spent in the Farm Safety Programs, teaching the importance of working smart on the farm. For the last 14 years, she has spent a lot of time serving on the Utah Farm Bureau Women's Committee. She has also served for several years on the 4-H sheep community in Box Elder County.

Dot's true joys come from her six children and their spouses, her nine grandchildren, who are learning to carry on the agricultural life, and her dogs.

Clayton Rindlisbacher, Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee (Chair)

Clayton and his wife, Dakota, are the chairs of the State Young Farmer & Rancher Committee. They farm in Juab County and were elected chairs in November 2025. In this role, Clayton serves on the State Board of Directors.
