Spencer Gibbons
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Spencer reports to the Board of Directors. Gibbons oversees the Utah Farm Bureau staff and is responsible for providing administrative coordination among Utah Farm Bureau's affiliated companies, with an emphasis to execution of UFBF policy.
Darren Hedin, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Darren reports to the CEO and has the primary responsibility for financial management of Utah Farm Bureau and assisting County Farm Bureaus with financial concerns.
Wade Garrett
VP - advocacy & stategic Relationships
Wade reports to the CEO and has the responsibility of building strategic relationships and overseeing state and national legislative and regulatory affairs.
Terry Camp, MPP
VP - Public policy
Terry reports to the CEO and has responsibilities with policy development & implementation, as well as overseeing state and national legislative and regulatory affairs.
Sadie sweat
Executive assistant & event planner
As the executive assistant and event planner, Sadie is the main contact for UFBF Officers and Board of Directors. Responsibilities include travel arrangements, meeting set-up, and anything related to Utah Farm Bureau events.
AJ FerGuson
Vice President - Farm Safety, Membership Analysis & Information Technology
AJ reports to the CEO and is responsible for membership analysis and UFBF's technology services. AJ heads the Utah Farm & Home Safety Program, which helps create a safer workplace and prevents worker injuries. He manages Utah Farm Bureau's Ag Trade Show, and Utah Farm Bureau building.
Matt Hargreaves, MPA, APR
Vice President- Communications & Utah Farm & Fork Editor
Matt reports to the CEO and develops marketing communication strategies, builds media relations, coordinates all public relations activities, oversees social media, manages media inquiries and interview requests, direct outreach efforts, builds relationships with thought leaders to grow agriculture awareness, advises and serves as the editor for all Utah Farm Bureau publications. Matt is responsible for policy & advocacy outreach communications and spokesperson training. Matt is the team lead for the UFBF website.
Susan Furner
Vice President - consumer engagement. Promotion & Education and women's leadership committee coordinator
Susan reports to the CEO and oversees the organization's consumer engagement. She coordinates the Promotion & Education Committee, as it develops and implements programs and activities designed to engage and connect with consumers. Furner is also the coordinator for the state Women's Committee as they work to foster leadership development, promote Ag education, communicate Ag stories, and encourage political involvement. Her responsibilities also include member benefits, and leadership development.
Hannah Haslam
Member Services Coordinator
Hannah is responsible for the Utah Farm Bureau's Member Benefit program. She also processes membership and various reports related to membership. Hannah is also the YF&R Program assistant and helps with Discussion Meets, YF&R Awards Program, FFA Activities, YF&R Leadership Conferences, and coordinates Washington DC Congressional trips for YF&R. She is staff support for Century Club membership, and is the point of contact for sending out county invitations for county events such as annual banquets, and takes care of UFBF mailing services. Hannah is a content editor and food contributor for the UFBF website.
Clayton Beckstead
Executive director for the miracle of agriculture foundation & director of field services
Clayton reports to the Board of Directors in his Foundation role, and to the Chief Operating Officer. The Miracle of Agriculture Foundation is the charitable arm of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation. Some of the purposes of the foundation include assisting the poor and underprivileged, assistance and relief during disasters, emergencies and temporary hardships, with particular emphasis on those persons and communities involved in agriculture. As the Director of Field Services, Clayton covers Juab, Millard, Utah and Wasatch County Farm Bureaus, and also manages the other Field Staff.
Sakia White
Northern & eastern regional manager
As a Regional Manager, Sakia will work with and motivate volunteers members in assigned counties as the first point of contact with Utah Farm Bureau. Her responsibilities include leadership development, developing membership acquisition strategies, policy development, legislative & Farm Bureau policy implementation, County Farm Bureau support, and serving as a liaison for farmers & ranchers with public agencies. Sakia covers Cache, Davis, Morgan, North Box Elder, Rich, Salt Lake, South Box Elder, Summit, Tooele, and Weber County Farm Bureaus.
Troy henrie
Southern regional manager
As a Regional Manager, Troy will work with and motivate volunteers members in assigned counties as the first point of contact with Utah Farm Bureau. His diverse responsibilities include leadership development, developing membership acquisition strategies, policy development, legislative & Farm Bureau policy implementation, County Farm Bureau support, and serving as a liaison for farmers & ranchers with public agencies. Troy covers Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, Piute, and Washington County Farm Bureaus.
Aubree thomas
Communications & miracle of ag foundation coordinator
Aubree has responsibilities over social media & digital outreach for the Utah Farm Bureau, and assists with all communications activities. She reports to the Vice President of Communications, and also has responsibilities over communications activities for the Miracle of Agriculture Foundation. Aubree is a contributor to the website and oversees advertising efforts for all UFBF publications. Aubree is also the lead on the FB Connect digital & print publication.
Sadie Carroll
Accounting
Sadie reports to the CFO and processes accounts payable and accounts receivable, enters transactions into Quickbooks, researches to verify account transactions and resolves account discrepancies. She also produces monthly and quarterly membership reports.
Adelaide corey-disch
Farmers market coordinator
Adelaide manages Utah Farm Bureau's Murray Farmers Market and South Jordan Farmers Market. She serves as a content contributor for the UFBF website and UFBF magazine publications. She also serves as UFBF liaison to the Wasatch Cooperative Market Board.
Jaron Hansen
Eastern Regional Manager
As a Regional Manager, Jaron will work with and motivate volunteers members in assigned counties as the first point of contact with Utah Farm Bureau. His diverse responsibilities include leadership development, developing membership acquisition strategies, policy development, legislative & Farm Bureau policy implementation, County Farm Bureau support, and serving as a liaison for farmers & ranchers with public agencies. Jaron covers Carbon, Duchesne, Emery, Sanpete, San Juan, Sevier, and Uintah County Farm Bureaus. (* Daggett and Grand Counties do not currently have organized County Farm Bureaus, and instead meet with Uintah and San Juan County Farm Bureaus respectively.)
